Hello everyone!

Figured I'd avoid being shy as usual and drop a greeting on here! (I didn't know whether to make a post or reply here so please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong place!)

Perhaps a bit of an atypical case but I'm completely new to the world of Macs, and I'm here to learn its secrets basically.

Vintage computers have been a hobby of mine for a while now, but a couple weeks ago I chanced upon a machine I'd been obsessed with (admittedly at a distance) since I saw it as a kid: an iMac G3. Specifically, I am writing this from my newly-acquired 600 MHz Flower Power model (with a dead CD drive sadly) running Mac OS 9.2 and browsing the internet through Classilla.

I am honestly very pleasantly surprised by how well this system works. My retro machines all run different variants of Windows, and so far I find the Mac OS experience a lot more pleasant (though that might be attributed to the fact that this iMac has beefier specs than the other machines in my collection LOL)

Anyways, I hope to learn more about the Apple side of this era of computing, and I certainly don't expect this computer to be the last addition to my collection either, it's just that in general Apple hardware is not very easy to come by in my country so it might take a while heh

Also thanks to the staff for letting me join!
