Can you imagine, Billy Idol used ProTools and SVP in 1993?!

He mentioned this in quite a few interviews, and that is what brought me here to this forum, and to use SVP, and to buy the G4 QS. Again moving away from wintel machines.

The tightness, that weird new approach of that album fascinated me.

Attached an excerpt playlist of the album, I must admit not all tracks are good 😊

Idol later recalled that the beginning of the recording sessions coincided with the onset of the 1992 Los Angeles riots. "We'd just installed the computer in my music room, and there was a window above it overlooking the whole city. And there was a fire raging....

Nine Inch Nails did use SV on Pretty Hate Machine and SVP on Broken EP, The Downward Spiral LP and only switched during The Fragile LP as SVP was discontinued
