if there is anyone who can speak japanese or chinese and can help me to find one of these cards
it would be very much appreciated as there are many of these cards available for cheap
if we could find the firmware from jjust ONE single card we could posibly make many os9 booting cards as a result

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1PC-New-3-Port-SATA-IDE-Serial-HDD-ATA-PCI-Card-VIA-VT6421A/153290670521?hash=item23b0d601b9:g:wpMAAOSw0YlcBlJf

cards are still able to be purchased at 6$ each cost from china
if we could only find a copy of the firmware of this one mathey card

closely examining an older thread here on the board shows that there was a user named APFEL who said he had one of these cards
http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php/topic,2023.msg27423.html#msg27423
he referred to the card as a "Macally" card

Tested with:
- Sonnet 2x2 SATA-II PCI (SIL3124 chip), bootable
- "PC"-4xSATA-PCI-X card (SIL3124) with Mac drivers, not bootable
- Macally 2xSATA intern, 1x SATA extern, 1x IDE intern, PCI 32bit, bootable
Max1zzz and I were looking desperately for this card a few years ago to get the firmware off it

I have one of this original Projovian cards in working conditions. Serves in a G4 with a 500GB SATA HD the last years. For serious aims I am available if needed.
