Everything installed perfectly except it needs a pace extension authorization which is no longer available on the web site. They only have legacy OSX tiger as the oldest.

The UAD manual says this bundle needs 2 things
an ilok and the correct pace interlock installer for OS9.

I found that the old interlock installer is already installed on this machine, so that one is checked off the list.

But it looks like I also need an ilok ?

Question, If I buy an ilock doesn't that mean I would need a key card or some other authorization from UAD to put on the ilok?

Further is any of this even going to work on an OS9 rig?

I found this comment on another forum http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=137139 -- I am going to reach out to this individual and see if he is still available to answer a few questions

"I got the original UAD TDM bundle when they made PT TDM only and they ran on the PT hardware. The 1176, LA-2A, and EQP-1A.

These are still hands down the best versions of these plugs. The newer Waves versions approached them but still really don't make the cut at all.

If you need a fast, clean, fidelity preserving compressor and/or an EQ that you can get away with the occasional boost with, these are still unmatched."

I talked to a guy who had these plugins years ago and he said he remembered there bing a little license sim card that came with the bundle that you stuck in the ilok to get this to work, he said it was the first package he saw that even used an ilok. So without that little sim card I don't know if this package can be made to work without some kind of crack.

Nope. I am running a UAD Apollo 8 protools 12 system now

from what i understood if your card was authorized already with certain plugins then
you could continue t run thees wihtout the auth server..

if u didnt buy + authorize the plugins before the date specified in the thread.. u are out of luck

thats my take on it..
anyone else have a reinterpretation ?
