Haha, Go, the cat! I'll have a play with your song but it might might be a week or 2. Here's my efforts of the night so far. It's the last minute of something much longer for feature film. I'm not supposed to post this because of licence but you won't tell anyone aye. lol

Great. I like that possible collaboration in our forum. Definitly something i would like to see more often here... 8)

Regarding your "nightshift" session it sounds like an opener to a serie!
I like the "sequenced" sound but I think the drums needs improvement, sounds too much
of a keyboard player drumming. For me the style of these drums doesn't fit to the more "techno" sound.

But i really appreciate that you are posting your music "in progress"!

EDIT:
I just relistened to it and whats bothering me is actually the added second bassdrum at the end.The drumloop is ok.  ;)

Hey 'Money Bags'... looking' forward to your collaboration with MacTron... very cool!! ;D  Thanks for posting the 'secret' Hollywood film music too... that was fun to listen to, even if the fake drums were screwed up... I'm sure it will be awesome by the time the feature film is released... I just hope it's one of those 3D deals as I LOVE wearing those cool glasses!! 8) Glad the experts here were able to help with your iMac too... 'OS9Lives' is the BEST!!!!!

D3lky28...

Sorry you took my response as an insult... I did NOT intend it as an insult but I WAS being, what I would consider 'silly', as I was sipping the late night adult beverage!

HOWEVER...

It did strike me as a bit funny that you came here looking for help, which the great people here tried to provide... You attached some music that you were working on for people here to check out, then after Philgood fell all over himself complimenting you (and for good reason as you sound like a VERY talented musician!)...  He offered you what he seemed to feel was a 'constructive criticism'...  In response to that you had to 'Big Time' him with the Hollywood producer, I make more money than you with this music so shut up kind of mentality! The people around here usually lean more to the humble side SOOO... I'm sorry, it just struck me as funny, causing me to post my 'silly' response. I know nothing about NZ so a communication issue could be in play here too.

WHAT I DO NOT WANT is to in any way jeopardize any type of collaboration between you and MacTron (who is held in VERY high regard around here) or with anyone else for that matter, and will apologize profusely is that's the case!!

So here's where I'd LIKE to leave it... I'm extending a hearty 'virtual hand shake' to you and saying, "Welcome to OS9Lives"!

I have to say that of course it was meant as a comment. I'm not happy of how I expressed it because it leaves room for mis-interpretation. sorry for that.
learned the lesson.
let's get back to fun...

Well honestly if you open the door you are asking for it.  Dont come here and brag about  money we all do that for fun and straight up our time is costly too. We can can keep it nice or we just hit the shit pile and talk about money.

king kongs soundtrack wasnt made on a g3 by some dude. Thats money right there. Your songs wouldnt even knock anybody from the london symphony orchestra out of there socks, send it to simon he will tell you how good it is.

""Clean up on aisle <insert
number>" is an internet
forum meme. It usually
means that there is a post
that requires the attention
of a moderator.
"13" is chosen as that is
the number that is
considered 'unlucky' / to be
associated with evil."

Never heard that one.
Does is mean this ?

guys.. this is very unfortunate...
i dont like seeing this kind of thing happening here..
ive given alot of my time + energy to this place. i always do my best to welcome complete strangers here, and help them. i never judge them. i never respond negatively or with attitude. some of u consistantly show "edginesss" in how u communicate here that i choose to ignore but when it comes to things unfolding like this its making it hard to ignore.

regardless of what the guy said .. let him be proud of himself..
i didnt see any comments about money at all.. he said that he was involved with doing work for a client + really shoudlnt be sharing but he wanted to share his work obviously because he was proud.. really .. tbh i usually find mrhappy to be in great spirits + very nice to people here, but mr happy i have to say im really not impressed by how u commented here man.... like i said it is pretty out of character. maybe u should lay off the booze from now on when browsing the forum.. gosh

i find comfort in the fact that i have my own site and i can easily fall back and leave this place completely and 'retreat' back to my own site where im in control but i hope things dont come to that.

i think delkey overreacted a bit but artists can be very sensitive to negative energy from other people.. i can definately relate to that and if i were in his position i would probably have reacted in a similar way.. the world is a shitty place when everywhere u turn people are rude + obnoxious.. this place is not meant to be that way.. regardless of what he said about his work being for a film or not.. like i said let him be proud - he didnt talk about money AT ALL. not once.. unless he edited his comment before i saw??

on top of all that u guys probably ruined mactrons chance to collaborate with the guy aswell.. and i believe u owe mactron a big apology.

No i think the tune was right. That was arrogance asking for it.you dont come here to tell people you are beyond compare. Happy was absolutly right and i back him up. Btw if you have noticed something this is the usa and in that case the film and music industry is big in lawsuits. He just violated a contract if this is not just bullshit. I think mrhappy was the first one to notice.

and yes he cleaned up after himself.

the guy wasnt from the USA he was from New Zealand
and honestly something is not quite right if u guys choose to take offense so easily to a guy you dont even know, who is commenting on his own work. he did not ask you to make a comparison of any kind. he did not mention money. he shared his composition  which was a brave thing for an artist to do in the first place. for you to take offense to someone else because he mentioned the fact that he is doing it professionally under contract is not right.
