ChipWits is a 1984 puzzle game released for the original black & white compact Mac. You had to program a robot making it through mazes and overcome challenges. The game garnered a solid fan base, but unfortunately, compatibility broke with later versions of the Mac OS, leading to many players missing this early Mac gaming gem.
Mac Garden user VMSZealot sets out to change that by porting ChipWits to C and making it compatible with later versions of the Mac OS, stating the mission with "Wouldn't it be nice if you could run it on your Mac SE, LC475 or PowerMac?".
