Convert Modern Video for Use with Por Tools 5.3.1

I am looking to convert a modern video clip so I can import it into Pro Tools 5.3.1. I have been trying with VLZ but have not found the right combination of settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

the "highest" codec support by quicktime 6 / OS9 is H263.

there is also a free library for Sorenson and for DivX, with the latter is always sheer luck if a file works or not.

your best bet for conversion tools is using quicktime in OSX or windows.
