Is there anybody out there with some experience to replace the Power Macintosh 7300/166 PSU?

If you're considering replacing the PSU with one from another Mac, check the number of pins on the motherboard connection.
My notes say the 73/86/9600 have a 24-pin connector (TBC, I've never had a 7300). Yet the seemingly similar 7500 has a 22-pin connector..

I would love to implant a silent PSU and of course a speed bump would be great.
