I haven't been able to solve the problem with this MDD, but I'm sure there are folks on this list who can get it running properly.

I have the computer listed on eBay for the too-high price of $199.  If interested, make me an offer of $1 and add "MacOS9Lives" in the message box.  eBay offers some great discounts on shipping, so it seems like the best way to get this 40+ pound monster to you.  FedEx looks like the best shipping deal at the moment.

Photos and description of the problem here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/336116531016

I'll keep this offer open until August 17.  If someone on this list doesn't buy it by then, I'll lower the price and hope to sell it on the open eBay market.

I don't think anyone would buy it for $199, but the MDD has been viewed 7 times while I've been typing this post, so act quickly!

Thanks to FdB/aBc for his above and beyond help with this computer!  He knows what he's doing, I'm still trying to learn...

If nobody jumps on this ONE DOLLAR offer by tomorrow evening, I will!

Hey M,

Sorry haven’t gotten back to you sooner. My trips back and forth to Texas seem to have paused for the moment. So if you you’re possibly still interested in another motherboard to try, I can get that off to you this week.

On the other hand, if you’ve simply given up completely and wish to simply rid yourself of it…

1. I’ll take it. I’ll offer that $1 on eBay as you explained and hopefully that will keep the shipping costs down.

2. Or whoever else might take it off you hands can also have this other mobo (upon request) for the cost of U.S. shipping alone.

Of course if someone here is more keen to have it… pull that $1 trigger before tomorrow evening!
