Ok, so I used the universal installer image at the top of the page to install os 9.2.2 and it worked fine.  Now I'd like to install tiger 4.11.  How do I do this?  Is there an image I can get somewhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?  What will happen to the os 9.2.2 that is already on the hard drive ? Is there an image somewhere that has both tiger 4.11 and os 9.2.2 together?

Did you format and two-partition (or more than two) your HD to allow for the Tiger installation on another separate partition?

If not, then begin again and multi or dual-partition your HD.

However if so, then there’s this Mac OS X Tiger PPC 10.4.6 original retail ISO DVD - (Download #34) from: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/mac-osx-mac-os-10-ppc

There’s also a Tiger 10.4 (4 CD set) there to download there if you’ve no DVD capabilities. (Downloads #29 - thru #32)

Then whichever download you may choose, you’ll likely want to eventually upgrade Tiger to 10.4.11 using the Tiger Combo updaters. Complete Tiger Updates (10.4.11 Combo, Java, Safari, Quicktime) (Download #33)

I tried going to that Macintosh garden by clicking on the link you provided but I keep getting 403 forbidden.  What's going on?  I download things from https://www.macintoshrepository.org/ . Is there a version I could find there that would work for me?  I have CD and DVD burning capabilities.

The link aBc provided works for me. Might have been a hiccup, the Mac Garden has been under some kind of attacks lately from what I understand and had to take measures against it. (e.g. locking out certain IP ranges)

Macintosh Repository is the project of somebody who took all the content from the Mac Garden that the community provided, optimized the thing for Google search results and slapped a paywall ("mandatory donations") to it to cash in on other people's volunteer work. I'm still miffed he took my stuff that I've provided for the community for free and now makes $$$ on it. My advice is to not support it, unless you absolutely have to.

That said, you'll want the two partitions that aBc mentioned to keep things smooth. Install 9.2.2 on one, and Tiger 10.4 on the other. I personally prefer Shuriken, an un-officiall Tiger 10.4.12 with some enhancements but the choice is yours :-)
