« on: August 03, 2024, 08:47:13 AM »

https://www.scopeusers.com/ScopeRise/issue_26/zimmer.htm

no mention of which Computer he is using, let us fix that.

it appears he is using nuendo? on a mac and there is scope....

"About SCOPE XITE: "SCOPE XITE-1 is a truly great sounding system. The sonic quality is first rate, the versatility is unmatched to this day. The modular synth, in conjunction with the mixers and fx, beats most of the hardware out there."

Hanz doesn't use Xite (Xite-1 is a modern system) , he uses Pulsar / Pulsar 2 and similar cre@mware PCI cards. And yes, I also use Pulsar on OS9.2.2. It is a software and hardware complex independent of DAW, but it can work via ASIO. I use it autonomously as a synthesiser, vocoder, sampler or patch system. Now I use one Pulsar 2 card (one card) mainly via AES / EBU

I think this article is a compilation

Xite is a PC (Windows) platform unfortunately. And not as good as the original Creamware PCI cards. The thing is that they claim that there are new DSPs AD Shark, this is true, but they retransmit signals from the old DSP AD Shark that were in the Creamware PCI cards. The company has long been split, and what they are doing now is a miserable existence on the legacy of their innovations. Therefore, I sincerely do not advise investing in the Xite system.

I also want to note that the original PCI cards have terrible D/A converters, do not use them, it is better to buy a good D/A.

The system is unique, these are the best copies of classic synthesisers.
