Seeking Korg K49 USB Controller Keyboard Drivers for os9
« on: July 31, 2024, 07:42:17 PM »

I'm trying to get a stand-alone synth station rigged up on my old G4 Mac (running macOS 9.2.2) — I'm using it to host & run my old Korg OASYS PCI card (which was the late 90's DSP Card based synth card)

Anyway, I have these Korg K49 and K25 USB controllers, but not driver discs. Looks like they don't show up in FreeMIDI (the MOTU midi device manager) without a driver. It's detected by macOS and I get a USB pop-up saying "no driver is present & then the "would you like to search internet for driver?" function comes up... but it returns nothing (presumably because that old driver database is no longer maintained)

I've been scouring the Internet Archives / Macintosh Repository / Macintosh Garden for old .sit files of drivers, etc. So far, no joy — anyone have a lead on where one can get the os9.x compatible drivers for these?
