there is a DAW product called Ha... Mi... and it has a built-in EQ.

the same company sells a commercial plug-in, which is said to be the "pro version", i.e. better than the built-in EQ.

if you measure the two filters by sending an bandlimited impulse through it, you get *drumroll* exactly the same transfer function.
