what maximum screen size and with a 128mb graphics card do you think it can be used ?

I´d suspect the limit here is more the DVI standard than the graphiccard itselve? With my best CRT I can go analoge up to 2560 x 1920. The TFTs with biggest resolution I am using are 1920x1200 so I cannot confirm any limit.

in TFT I speak in physical size of the screen, 22', 24'...?

Interesting stuff: what are VGA limits for the various G4 machines/cards available to run under OS9?

VGA connectors do not really have a strict size and frequency limit, their problem is the allowed cable length / high price for bigger resolutions vs long cables.
