Which are the most interesting G4 laptops to look for if you want to boot OS 9?

AFAIK officially were the Titanium 1 Ghz just because the PCMCIA port works

If you dont need PCMCIA, I would opt for the GHz 17" Aluminium or the 12" with 867.

I don’t need PCMCIA. Can you show me the 17" model on everymac.com

Even better, read this post by the Boss

http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php/topic,3912.0.html

After his post I caught a model.

Even speed test.

I am now using it but the L3 cache is missing somehow. When it activates the machine gets unstable but Jerry told me I should repaste the cache.

Apple PowerBook G4 1.0 Ghz 17" Aluminum Model M8793LL/A - PowerBook5,1 - A1013 cannot boot standard OS 9, only OS 9 for unsupported Macs.

I thougt Apple PowerBook G4 1.0 (Ti) 1 GHz/867 MHz - M8859LL/A - PowerBook3,5 - A1025 is the best, but is there a 17" version?

for "pro" work: Titanium 400 - Titanium 1000

for mobile: many people do like the clamshells.
