LC575 . machine problem

Hello, recently my LC575 has trouble starting up. It plays a startup sound then breaks to some tunes and nothing on the screen. I know this machine is old but can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!

Chimes of death?
A hardware problem of some kind.
Start troubleshooting by removing RAM sticks and non-standard peripherals.
A flat battery can give a blank display, but doesn't usually chime.
