wow yea that is a big leap..  so would SATA/SSD drives deliver that upper 110mb/s per HD speed?

my 1.5 and 2 TB disks are around that speed. including copying between them via PCI. they fit perfectly to the card and computer, faster HDs are not required. :)

and i just looked ... there is no loss in any way.

they have 110 as per datasheet and 110 in practice.

With a MDD would there be any added gain with their 64bit PCI slots?  or was 32bit PCI not a bottleneck for making them a system HDD?

the 64 bit slot in some MDDs will make a difference, there are at least 2 threads about that somewhere here.

it is the only computer system where even the sonnet eSATA/SATA-300 cards makes sense. (in the "digital audio"s IMHO not)

to find one i recommend a trip to mars, it is difficult enough to get a 1s2 ^^
