How is it done? Dual DVI OS9 large work area?

Answer can involve effort and or money.

Currently running Gforce4 TI4600
dvi monitor has 1920x1080
svga monitor maxes at 800x600

the jump from hi rez to low rez from monitor to monitor would be great to get rid of...

Have other Video GPU cards in stock...
Ati 8500
Geforce4Mx

both outputs (VGA and ADC) of any geforce 2 or higher easily support "DVI" (in the sense of 1920*1200) - and you can get a cheap adapter to use a DVI cable if that is the aim (as long as the monitor supports DVI analog input.)

so i guess when you have less options or a lesser resolution it is releated to the specific monitor you use.

ive found certain older video cards are picky about what resolutions they'll run in a particular format in dual monitor configs, especially at higher resolutions.
I was not able to get full 1920x1200 on my monitors until I used DVI for both (well, DVI and ADC-DVI adapter). you can use a DVI - VGA adapter down the chain but it had to be DVI coming out of the Mac. anything else, one would run at 1920x1200 and the other at various lower resolutions.

hm, in my case both are VGA´ed, GF4 MX.

the only thing what sucks is that the ADC port always wants to be monitor #1, that is annoying when you change setup frequently and have a lot of icons on the desktop.
