Help! 48 hours later, mac will now not even turn on?
« on: December 30, 2019, 11:24:55 AM »

It took 48 hours for me to figure out how to download the Unoversal Install onto discs with the equipment I have available.

Finally managed to get it onto a CD, put it in the Mac while pushing Option as holding down as "c" did not work, read the beginning which said use Disk Utility to do something which the installer also said I needed to do, and which I could not do while running the CD.

So I restarted without holding down option and it booted from the disc. Took the disc out, restarted and nothing. A few tries later, along with unplugging for several minutes, and now the button does not even light up.

And I tried to put the CD back in and now it is stick since the computer is not pulling it in, and I pushed it in too much to get it out.

The only good news at this point is that I have 24 more CDs to work with and only 2 (or 3) computers left to do this to.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated :)
