Casio TB-1.  2 Ins, 8 Outs.  Switches allow selecting which input goes to which outputs.

Digital Equipment Corp. MX-28M.  2 in, 8 out.  MERGER also!  Has switches for Map, Transpose and Merge assignments.

NOTE:  There's also the MX-28S by D.E.C.  2 in, 8 out, switchable, but NO merging or transpose functions.

came across this in a classified ad.. never had seen or heard of it till now

oh crap its an actual audio mixer? controlled via midi?
i thought it was a midi patcher .  :o
