Using a 1.8" SSD (pata) in a Power Mac G4?

I see those floating around ebay a lot lately. One thing I wonder is whether the 1.8" SSDs would work just like the 2.5" SSDs do? Is it just a different size or is there anything else that a buyer should be aware of?

the form factor is unteresting, it is all about the interface. some interfaces match fine with adaptors some others dont...
