LaCie Blue Eye Mac OS 9 Software?
« on: September 29, 2016, 06:27:48 AM »

I am thinking about getting a LaCie Blue Eye II or Blue Eye Pro for calibrating all my monitors. Sadly most used hardware devices you can buy out there are without the original software. The "Pro" even didnĀ“t contain Mac OS 9 software anymore, even if it is the same hardware as far as I know. Does anybody out there have all the 9 stuff for this device?

Look that picture about Lacie Blue Eye Pro:

on the end of second last line of text of CD-ROM...

So has somebody that CD-ROM?

EDIT: or is that text Mac OS X or Mac OS 9? and image doesn't work anymore so there is link to image: http://tftcentral.co.uk/images/lacie_blue-eye/5.JPG

The oldest BlueEye Pro (Proof Edition) that I have is 1.0.1 and it's OSX only.
I do have BlueEye 2 v2.0, which is OS9, but, I'm afraid, it's for that one specific colorimeter only.
I see no reason to pursue LaCie calibration software for OS9, since there are better solutions and with more device support by the same creators.

Maybe it would be good historic reasons make disk image from Lacie CD-ROM what came with Blue Eye, if somebody has it.
My colormeter look like above Lacie BlueEye Pro picture from top side, but downside there is text: Type blue-eye-V2.
So I am not actually sure what my second hand BlueEye is...but yes anyway might be better follow your good links.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Lacie BlueEye 2 is OEM version of X-Rite i1display 2

Here's BlueEye 2 v2.0 Installer. Give it a try.
