NO OPEN FIRMWARE HACKS NEEDED !

Here is a disc image that can be burned to a cd and booted to test if your machine is bootable to OS 9 without firmware hacks.

This is the same system folder I have been using when I manually install over target disk mode to do my initial testing to determine if a machine can even boot.

There are no extensions in this image.  It will literally boot and that's about it.  No applications  or utilities installed.

If you boot this disc and are able to get to the desktop then your machine is bootable.  This does not mean though that all hardware is supported and would work with a more full install though.

I tested this in Powerbook 1 Ghz Titanium that normally boots in OS 9.2.2, but with that cd image it only shows floppy disk icon with questionmark.
If I go to in OS 9 Control Panel/Startup Disk it shows System icon and Boot test: System Icon in gray.
I even burned it to CD-R. Is it bad mistake burn with Toast for Intel Mac?

I'll double  check it. I may have put the wrong one up when I moved the server.

That one should, but there is something wrong with the image.  I may have put the wrong one up.
I'm going to make a new one though that has a bunch of fixes in it too.
