Had a quick email conversation with the write of Amadeus II software, Martin Hairer....and he gave me permission to redistribute his last MacOS 9 Amadeus version 3.8.7 including serial number....

To my knowledge Amadeus II is the only software on MacOS 9 that can read/write Flac files (besides many others)

Is the adrive.com site the best way to distribute the software in terms of availability?

You need to PM DieHard and ask him. Adrive is being reorganized at the moment.

BTW, did Martin re-enable VST in 3.8.7 ?

Please, create a free mediafire account and upload to it.

We make a .sit and then encode to .BIN to preserve it.

MacOS9Lives.com will be moving to a Faster / Newer Server by April 10th 2016 !

The domain is renewed for the next 5 years and all there will no changes visible with links, previous posts, or URLs; however we may be down for approx 1 day during the transition and it may take an additional day for all DNS servers to sync with our new IP address.  I will keep all of you posted of our actual migration date.

Adrive space were almost full, and Jerry decided to use mediafire for new uploads, because it is easy to transfer files to his pro account.

The server were godaddy, IIRC.

Adrive still has plenty of Room for OS9 Uploads and is the best choice for legacy browsers and preserving
OS 9 Files...

Mediafire will be used for Sample libraries, large DVD Images, and OS X related Material

Version 3.8.7 seems to be a OS9/OSX application as it comes as an application bundle...but works on natively booted OS 9.2.2 on a MDD and eMac G4.

For the newcomers, MARL means MaTron's Advanced Research Laboratory, once a worldwide reference on the subject. LOL And yes, it's not at its best moments ...

3.8.6 and 3.8.7 are Carbonized apps that run on both systems.
