The .sit archive of the installer I used to install Pro Tools on my system takes up 357mb of space on my backup harddrive. I think that guy just made a zip file of his System Folder. Unarchive it and look how big the plugin folder is :). The size will still be correct, even though the resource forks are messed up.

I did look, and I can't remeber that there where any new plugs in the folder that I didn't have. I think I would have written it down if there where any new ones. Almost all my plugins are on the server, If you want to have a look at them :)

I could try to fix them, but I think that they are lost. Will investigate if theres any new plugs compared to my plugin folder :)

You mean the os9backup.zip? It never worked since the .zip file destroyed all the files resource forks.

i know its been ages but i just wanted to say that.. if its a zip. it was most likely compressed on mac os x somehow... and if u unarchive on mac os x the files can be retreived, but if u uncompress on mac os 9.. it all gets screwed up but thats because of stuffit on mac os 9 not extracting it properly.

it may be that this is not what he did, but .. its worth a shot..
but i think i even deleted the file so its a moot pt:)

I tried this already when I messed around with this. On 10.3, 10.4, 10.5 and 10.7.
Probably zipped using some Mac OS 9 application or third party OSX application.

Thank you so much! That's just how it is RIGHT to put on a clean os9? Just to throw in the folder "Applications"?

Not quite sure what you said... but when you download, unstuff the file and click on the installer it will create a folder and put things where they need to go.

As far as PT 5.1.3... I don't thing there is anything that isn't around here. There is some older stuff that won't run on a 'mix' farm/ core card that MIGHT run on the older 'farm' cards...

SOOO... If you're running an older PT system it might be of interest but you could probably find the same stuff here or the garden for $125.00 less!!!

Open just DAE and select another setting.

Reboot.

Maybe something is trying to get to the rig. Look on sound on panels to use the onboard sound.

Hey guys!

I'm running 5.1.1 on OS9.2.2 - can anyone tell me where to find the newest Pro Tools updater that you're speaking of?  Also, where might these TDM [k] plugins be that everyone had back in the day?  I found a few on some old discs that still work - Echo Farm etc., but would love my entire old collection back if possible.

Thanks!
