Hopefully someone gets back to work on the project... I thought after like 7 years they would have figured out how to get 2 GB of RAM usable. Pretty disappointing that the project seemly stopped like that.

Name me ONE OS7-OS9 application that would benefit from having 2GB of RAM available.

Some people from earlier in the thread claimed that music programs use colossal amounts of RAM for sampler instruments.

I just added 256 MB or RAM to my main working computer (a G4 MDD) and I started to do real life test, In this picture we can see Cubase using 1.54 Gb or RAM, (mainly loaded by Kompakt sampler instruments). No problems by now ...

Yep - something like LinPlug Albino is constantly hitting the limits, even after giving it as much as I can with having 1GB total. 2GB would be fantastic to have for these very specific but frequent circumstances.
