OS9 compatible cd burner?
« on: October 03, 2015, 04:09:02 AM »

I have a first gen 700MHz eMac running 9.2.2  Can anyone recommend a (generally available) CD burner
       compatible with this machine?
                                                        thx    D

via firewire all burners should work.
via IDE (if it is an IDE burner), anyway.
everything else can contain traps.

im pretty sure hes looking for someone to give a more detailed response...
ie: someone who has experience replacing a cd/dvd drive in a g4 emac..
the original poster is probably expecting that there might be complications
thinking it would be more complicated then replacing one in a normal desktop machine
