if u try to stick a compact flash adapter + CF card into a ide port on the aec-6880M or aec-6280M it fits perfectly..
but it wont work if the CF cards are not UDMA i have read..

so make sure your media is of higher UDMA quality if u try this
i had thought my CF Card adapter was incompaible..
(The system will not boot.. it will just hang + show no video)

this works well because of the cards half-height and poses no obstruction
when closing the g3/g4 case
