Blu ray burner
« on: March 17, 2015, 10:17:08 PM »

I replaced the DVD burner with a blu ray burner and installed the toast add on to see how far it goes. Works pretty good but you need space and patience ;D

1) ... so Toast CD Reader extension allow the BR drive to work properly? It can read CDROMs, DVDs and BR disks?
2 ) Apple CD/DVD driver failed to do the same?

3 ) Toast Titanium (the standalone Recorder App) could write a BR disk?
4 ) Toast Titanium (the standalone Recorder App) could write a CD ROMs DVDs disks using a BR drive?

5 ) Have you tested some rewritable (CD ROMs and DVDs) ?
6 ) Have you tested Dual Layer DVDs?

7 ) Could the Mac boot from a CDROM inserted into this BR drive?

8 ) What are the Brand and model of the drive you have tested?

:'(
Os X has no relevance here.
Can you please test this BR drive on a Mac Os 9 Machine?
... other wise, this post will be deleted to avoid further time loss and confusion ...
