usb thumbdrive -> 1.44mb Floppy emulator

this thing looks cool
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/3-5-1-44Mb-USB-SSD-Floppy-Drive-Emulator-For-Embroidery-Machine-/231032086534?pt=US_Floppy_Zip_Jaz_Drives&hash=item35ca95e006

i think it simulates 100 seperate floppies and u 'change the channel' to move to the next disk image..
at least thats how i think it works .. and the reason for the digital readout on the front..
so on 1 usb drive key u can have hundreds of 1.44mb floppy images

very cool!

can this be physically connected to a g4 somehow?
im guessing it would only be able to be used with pre-usb beige powerpc macs
unless there are mac addon floppy disk controllers?

i guess the g4 users would be stuck with a regular old usb floppy drive

unless there is another floppy emulator that connects via usb??+
