Even Though the file clearly states: "CM-505 OS9x"; it is Os X only.
One of those weird  mysteries...  :'(

Steinberg LM4 MKII is the best in this class IMHO.
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/lm_4_markii_by_steinberg

But in my opinion don't mess with this kind of Drum Machine...
because they don't do nothing than a medium class sampler can do...

testing it now and it seems to work nicely;)
its actually not bad! it may be simple but very usefull
when used with a drumtrack in cubase vst for example

now i can understand the comments here on this page
as recent as 2012 when this was made in 2003!

This drum machine is pure analog and it sounds funky i love it, hard to believe this is free, I am a big fan of analog drum machines and have been looking for this particular sound on the computer, it has that mechanical low-fi very dirty sound. Also the sound shaping is awesome.

Yes, it is. MK1 is Just "another one". But MK2 seems far superior...

But without Original CD (which I don't have) it don't work. :'(

i still think its worth it to post this cm-505 in the vst section'
for the noobs who will not see this thread..
plus its a very small file size.. this is the kind of vst we should readily have here for public dl;)

u know maybe even the reverse of TVZ.. TFZ (the free zone) is what we need maybe
to have a section that isnt even hidden to only logged in users but shows up for anyone surfing to the
forum without even being logged in

TFZ is "outside" the forum. Is on the Main page http://macos9lives.com/mac%20os%209%20lives_004.htm, don't you think?
Maybe "there", outside the forum, should be expanded with "that" The Free Zone, but only if some help is offered to Admins., we can't push ANYMORE them. We have got the BEST OS9 zone EVER. For me it is perfect as it is. Americans say

Maybe after we "clean" the "free" downloads and ask Computer Music Magazine to release SOME of their "Obsolete" exclusive software. If we offer ONLY demos in the free zone, they could agree to give them...

ok wow what are all of those other ones??
u should be careful tho to bundle these things up in a package like that..
most people will not see what each thing is.. overlooking.. because they dont learn
even if they download it.. what it is. and what it does..
cm-101?
sr-202?
cm-303?
ds-404?
these things really exist?
what are they?
why not post them seperately? so we can post info on these things?
its the same as how u posted koblo 9000 series plugins..
i had no idea untill i researched further that one was a drum sampler.. one a synth. one  sampler player.. etc etc this was not obvious .. and will not be obvious to anyone in the future unless they are posted seperately with info

i´d rather add them into the respeitive developer category, some of the CM plug-ins exist as other freeware distributions, too.
insert arbitrary signature here
