1. Install Mac OS 9 + patch up to 9.2.2
2. Follow Critical Directions (above) to install Cubase
3. Turn off Appletalk (via the chooser)
4. Turn off virtual memory (via control strip)
5. Ensure all MIDI and sound card extensions are installed (via Extensions Manager)
