WTB: 933MHz G4 processor (single, not dual)

I don't know what they're worth so let me know what you want for yours. I'll need shipping to Australia too. Destined as an upgrade for my 800MHz Quicksilver.  -afro-

here in germany, everything from 40-200 USD/EUR is realistic, where 40 in good condition usually means you have to fetch it locally at a given time.

ah, you want the CPU only! i was already wondering why you took overseas into account.

Daughtercard, rather, to be clearer. I point out the difference, since sometimes we are actually just looking for the actual CPU, such as when wanting to do a 7448 (with interposer board) or 7457 upgrade to single/dual daughtercards (or motherboards, i.e. in laptops). There's a guy from Slovakia in MacRumors that does (or used to do) these upgrades, and he ships across Europe, if not even internationally. I discuss these upgrades in details in some thread over there from 2021. There's also a guy from US who does these and would show up on eBay, too (in fact, I helped him source a shit-ton of 7448 and 7457 processors), and he's infact the author of the first interposer board for the 7448 that we have seen, required on, say, the MDD's daughtercard (same daughtercard as used in XServe G4, too).

Anyway... Just clarifying. You guys please go on ahead. :) Also I might chime in and say that the OP might want to consider such upgrades, such as a single 7448 @ 2.0GHz with an insane lot more of L2 cache instead of... Just a 933MHz one, hardly much more than the existing 800MHz one. An 800MHz G4 can pull off just about anything one might casually want from OS 9, too. But that's just me.
