3ivx, Divx, Real Player and tutti quanti

Just updated Quicktime from 5.0.2 to 6.0.3 on my main OS9 volume and though I doubt video settings/software could provide the plethora of options we have with recent MacOSes systems, I'm asking if any of the following are worth installing and using...

- 3ivx codec? best version?

- Divx codec? best version?

- Divx Doctor?

- Real Player? best version? I had it on my iMac a long time ago. I don't remember stumbling upon any .rm, .ra etc...files during the last ten years  ???


- Windows Media Player ? I remember it as a buggy and ugly app
