Hello, I am Doug. I just wanted to join in on the fun.

Howdy, I am Doug2000 on the internet and Doug in real life as well. I am a an enthusiast of many things from the years 1995-2005 or so. I am currently messaging of a PowerMac G4 400mhz from the year 2000, and use a Ibook g3 (2001) when I can, which is oddly a lot.

I am studying for my Interdisciplinary Studies degree, at BYU-I.

In general, I am trying to get multi-media setup with my computers, and work on web design in the Web 1.1 movement.

Welcome to OS 9 Lives, Doug! Hope you'll have a good time around here - if you have questions or some info to share, just go ahead :-)

And if you want, share with us what you are using your two Macs for (browsing / coding? Playing any good games? Any "serious" work?). I always get a kick out of hearing what other people do on their machines :-)

In summary I found this place, through the odd web rings, on various other places like Cornica and the like.

Currently I use my stuff, for mostly writing, though I am enjoying my copy of BBEdit 5.0, and I am also trying to learn C programing, for making programs for this computer, and also the PALM platform. Mostly I am good at HTML, CSS, and the odd javascript.

I do have a desire to make this machine a multi-media machine. Where I can import video, and photos and edit. I want to make a year 2000 web development environment. As well as get a website up. Though college keeps me busy.
