that´s what i suspected. :)

when we say "classic mode", we refer to the OS9 enviroment from apple ("bluebox") which comes with 10.4 or lower only.

this kind of "classic enviroment" is better than all the emulators, it is PPC only - but you can not properly do audio and midi with it. also it does not have a memory controlpanel at all.

with later emulations of OS9 it can be different.

do you use a translation engine?

if koreans or japanese use automatic translation, we have to make short and clear statements and we have to avoid typing errors.

Sorry for the late reply. It was definitely a mistake on my part. The Mac OSX version with Classic Mode was 10.3.

However, one day the power went out and the Mac never turned on again. It had more memory than my main OS 9.2.2.

There's no way to check 10.3 anymore. I tried installing Logic 5 and an emulator on 9.2.2, and Logic 5 is fine. Disk I/O was 60% with 4.8.1, but it's only about 2% with Logic 5.

Disk memory is too slow or system overload now.

I utilize Logic 5 and using 5 stereo channels only. Why???

My mac is G4. Memory is 320MB. Speed is 400MHz. Virtual memory is off.

Logic's memory is 126000k.
