Q1. What brand of SSD?
Q2. What other Mac or Win machines do you have?

the drive is this: Patriot P210 SATA 3 128GB SSD 2.5 Inch Internal Solid State Drive - P210S128G25
The other machines I have is several MacBooks ranging from 2011 to 2021
And I have a mid 2010’s Dell OptiPlex as my sole windows machine

It is best to forget about OSX and dual boot for the moment. Try the trick described here and in my original post, mount the SSD inside your iMac and see if drive created that way can boot it.

you mean like connecting the drive via USB or fire wire and then installing it externally, then putting it back in? I’ve already tried cloning exact partitions to the drive and it still wouldn’t recognize, like macOS nine physically can’t recognize the drive with the adapter, should I try restoring my image directly through target mode with FireWire? Basically, I have an external adapter to connec. IDE drives via USB and I was able to create a clone of the macOS nine drive via disc utility on my snow leopard 2011 MacBook Pro

I also have 4 7th gen iPod classics if thsoe could work via fw

Well, I returned my shit through Amazon and got an IDE drive instead of this hack adapter bullshit, I was just tired of it
