devils_Advisor gave us that original program disc but not the libraries that go with it.. i think?

devils advisor had not uploaded the other 2 discs on purpose..having thought that it would work with the soundbank + orkester cds that came with reason 2.5
i tried this before and failed.. I am trying again to see if i can get reason v2.0 to open

success! reason v2.0 does in fact open with the reason 2.5 orkester + soundbank cds
im not sure if i only tried mounting them last time via toast
but this time, and what i can confirm as working, is to actually have the physical cd in the drive
during the install process, i checked custom install, and chose only to install the program files (leaving unchecked orkester + soundbank)
when i tried to isntall with these boxes checked the cds failed the check and it would not allow me to continue.. perhaps this is why
i thought this didnt work last time.. but if u install just the program files from the program disc.. and then run the app
it will prompt twice, once for each of the cds, for the cds to be inserted physically into the actual drive.. orkester + soundbank, and when i inserted the version 2.5 copy of these discs it authorized + proceeded to open reason v2.0!

reason v1.0 + 1.01 i think are a breeze because they recognize the toast mounted cd image when it asks for the cd
2.0 apparently does not recognize the toast mounts at all and requires you to use real physically burned discs
u have to select custom install to get it installed tho, as the installer app doesnt recognize the 2.5 sound bank cds
with this newly confirmed information im hoping we can repost reason the v2.0 program disc back to the downloads section
but including installation notes to explain that it
can be installed with the 2.5 snd bank discs but
A) the discs must be burned to REAL CDS
B) u must deselect the snd bank cds during the installer

this wouldnt be a problem if we had copies of the actual 2.0 sound bank + orkester discs! which im still hoping someone will volunteer some day

why would you say that i didnt upload on purpose ? i cant find them and back then i had to leave because i work mostly out of town which is even worse for me because im in hotels or in a camper with nothing but a few tv channels or at work guarding equipment. wow thanks so much for that one

i meant that u had spoke with me and we both thought that it would work with the sound library of the 2.5 version.

Are we still looking for the CDs? I have the Reason 2.0 set, and am happy to share. The Orkester CD has a scratch but still does the business.
