finder crashes on "shutdown" or "restart"

i cant restart/shutdown.. it just hangs.. and i have to force quit finder

ive reverted to base extensions..
i cant figure out the cause of this..
:(

this machine was working fine till i added this second m-audio 410 pci card..
could the card be causing these issues?
pci bus issue?

machine: sawtooth 450mhz agp ;)

very strange.

i never figured out what was causing it.. i restored from a backup using ASR..
it may have been because of the delta m-audio driver.. maybe i accidentally installed both the 8.6 + 9.0 drivers for the 410 card
