Title: PC Card and/or AirPort Card Support in NewWorld Mac OS 7.6?
Post by: cc333 on December 25, 2025, 05:46:39 PM
I'm running 7.6 on my Pismo, and I'm wondering if the PC card slot is enabled, and how to enable it if it's not.  Better still, is it possible to get the internal AirPort slot working by backporting the AirPort drivers from Mac OS 9?

Everything else seems to be more or less working.

Macintosh Garden has many drivers for PCMCIA cards.
Orinoco PCMCIA Gold wireless card (http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/orinoco-pcmcia-card-drivers) and the description says it works with System 7. I know I used it in my Wallstreet so it should work in a Pismo.
