Copied from an FBz Post...
Last, but not entirely least… the elusive EVB-002-3 / Bribge adapter.
Finally…

After forever failing to acquire any of these for testing
…we now have them in very great abundance with the bad Chinese spelling of "Bridge" burnt into the PCB board !
As a special for members, they’re now available for $3.99 each (which includes postage within the continental United States).

[ADP-06 adapters are now selling for $9.99.]
With their available Master / Slave jumper, they perform well in MDDs
& Quicksilvers as solo adapters. Have tested them with conventional
(mechanical) drives ranging from 750GB up to 1TB and most recently
with SSDs ranging from 120GB and up to the latest, Crucial 1TB SSD.
*Optimum Read / Write performance in MDD’s is in the mid-80 MB/sec and
(of course) less in the Quicksilvers with 50+ MB/sec performance.
Regretfully, they don’t work in pairs on the same ribbon cable regardless of
how you set their jumper. Best alone, on a cable - with a BIG SSD drive.

Admittedly here in America, some prior trepidation about purchases from some Chinese sources (especially via eBay).
But I have had recent great success ordering direct via Ali Express. *And instead of submitting credit or debit card info, I’ve used PayPal account.
Once again the good ol’ “Bribge” adapters are noted.
I have also used the same mSATA adapter. ;)

This adapter from M.2 SATA to IDE44 also works on Mac Mini G4:

Fit into a Pismo or iBook?

Fit into a Pismo or iBook?
Sadly, it’s rather doubtful that the Bribge will fit into a Pismo… unless there’s more room inside than available in a Lombard.
-
I've used these with success, and just put one inside a G4 Ti with a 1TB SSD. Although I did have to remove the actual SSD internals from it's case to make things fit in the PowerBook.

I haven't tried this one but it might be better as a low profile adapter:

Any idea if this works with an iMac G3 (I have a Rev D)? I couldn't get the red startech adapter to work, and I tried another one that looks like this but it by "NFHK" (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GPGFLWB) and while it worked, the iMac would freeze while installing the OS from CD.

Hello, coincidentally I am having similar problems with an iMac G3 rev B. I am using the same adapter that I have used in other PPC macs with success, and all my SSD disks fail, some fail when formatting, others prevent copying files,... I think it is the iMac that is incompatible with SATA adapters. Maybe the hardware is different from a slot loading? In those it works well for me.

If it helps, I managed to get it working with SSD using this adapter and this HD:

This adapter uses JMicron chip.

Has anybody tried these in G4 Xserve 1,0 and 1,1 sleds?
It appears as though they might fit, and they appear no taller or wider than a typical 3.5" drive...
-
Not Xserve tested here… but no taller or wider. ;)
