its only got 2 x 512MB modules in it for 1gb mem
and the video card that it came with.. im guessing geforce 2mx or 4mx
and no pci cards installed..
running off ATA IDE internal drive
what could be causing this?
i installed with diehard's "Fresh drag install"
why is it freezing on me? this never happened to me on my sawtooth EVER!!!
sawtooth is indestructible;)

WHY QUICKSILVER! WHY! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!

Hi,

I had the same experience while running my Imac G3-500mhz system folder on my Quicksilver (also 1 gb.) I've updated all extensions (latest NVIDIA drivers etc) and made a new extension set. And got it working properly. If you like I can send you a copy of my customized system folder so you can try on your Quicksilver. Let me know...

its definately related to powered down sleep state but my sawtooth was perfect in that regard and never hung.
it mus be extension related as the 4 pci slots other then the agp card are all empty!

Try a minimal extension set....if it still is a problem; definitely the video drivers. If not; build up a new extension set.

yes its not happening anymore now that ive disabled sleep.. i wonder what could interfere with sleep if theres no PCI devices plugged in at all?
it must be some sort of incompatibility betweewn the quicksilver and the mdd versions of the extensions that are more up to date in diehards "fresh drag" i believe he made this from the source files of an mdd

other then that it seems to be working fine..
maybe i should try an install with the original qs restore cds and see if it sleeps fine
