So I got 8 CPUs working under Mac OS 9 in Qemu.

Only really C4D and maybe some audio apps plug-ins can take advantage of more than 2 cores.

In my tests Photo Shop 6 and 7 don't really use more than 2 core even tho back in the day you could get faster speed on the Daystar Quad in PS.

Newer versions just assumed Apple Dual CPUs and even tho PS MP extension is not capped at 2 the filters take no advantage of more than 2 in my testing.

If you have an audio workload you can tell me how to setup and run I will test it and see if more than 2 CPUs helps?

If you run C4D it's likely to be faster in CPU Render in Qemu than the Dual 1.42GHz MDD.

10 cores maybe the limit for Mac OS 9.
