Okay, based on my experience after several tests, I managed to get it connected by keeping one of the three original Airport extensions—specifically, I kept "Airport AP support." If I disable all three, the computer freezes when I open the Airport Extreme control panel, forcing a restart. I entered the TCP/IP settings manually; upon opening the control panel and entering the Wi-Fi password, it connects and shows a very strong signal. Now I need to figure out which program to use to verify the internet connection—the HotStuff program isn't connecting. Maybe I should try Internet Explorer? It created two files in the System folder (they look like text files, but SimpleText says they are too large to open). I'm not sure how to send these files to you. I'll run some more checks over the next few days to see if everything is working properly. I'll keep you posted—and thanks!

That's great progress! You can attach your logs to a reply to this thread if you want. You could try using the Classilla web browser (works great in OS 9) and see if you can navigate to an OS 9-friendly website like http://www.macintoshgarden.org or something of that nature. If it connects and pages are loading at a snappy pace, you're probably good.

I'll try to determine what exact extension conflict might be occuring under the hood. Glad you figured out how to get a stable connection at the very least!
