Good Morning Mac OS 9
« on: Yesterday at 08:03:07 AM »

I was a third grade teacher, now retired. I found some of the software that I back in the day and I want to re-explore it. I am looking forward to reading the forum.
As a teacher I used the computer (Mac) to reinforce curriculum and cooperative work.

Welcome Ronald on the os9 forum !

I have some good memories from a brief edutainment soft I used at school (the magic desk) but I don't think it existed on Mac.
What were the softwares you used with your students?

Welcome Ronald,

I'd be interested in hearing that too. What software did you use in class, what was your experience with it?

When my kids were young I bought a Commodore 64 and I purchased the Magic Desk cartridge for the machine. Being a cartridge the kids assumed it must be a game and often stuck the cartridge into the machine and actually used MagicDesk to create things. Now days of course all my grandkids use tablets, not so much to create things but to doom scroll social media.
