Hello from Brooklyn, NY!
« on: October 13, 2024, 04:01:46 PM »

Hi there - A friend turned me onto this community; so cool that there's still so many who appreciate all things Apple Macintosh from yesteryear. I'm hoping to connect and integrate some of the older music/audio processing tools into my modern workflow.  :)

Thanks,
Peter Kirk

Welcome to the party, there is certainly no lack of audio devices and tools that work only with MAC OS 9. Firewire is the king of perfectly good audio gear that you can take advantage of!

What is it that you record?

Welcome to Mac OS 9 Lives! I'm also curious to hear what kind of music you make and what kind of gear you use in your workflow. Do tell :)

Thanks Knezzen. My main public music project is Panama Wedding.

I'm pretty new to how all this works. But I'm hoping to integrate some of the older Steinberg Spectral Designs mastering VSTs for Mac into my workflow. I'm on a 2019 Intel iMac, but soon picking up a G4 Quicksilver.

Any tips / help welcome. I'm still wrapping my head around Hotline Connect.

Thanks and looking forward to connecting.

Peter
