Hi all,

So apart from the obvious:  Adaptec 2930cu (mac)

Are there other mac specific scsi cards available that enable native scsi support in the g4 for use with Akai samplers (and others) with mesa etc?

Thanks,

the Adaptec 2930cu is not a mac card (unless its flashed?)

was there ever anyone else that made PCI SCSI controller cards for the Power Macintosh besides ATTO and ADAPTEC?

Yes. Initio and FWB. There was another manufacturer, but the name escapes me.

Orange Micro made the Grappler series of SCSI cards which were Mac compatible.

Belkin had a FireWire to SCSI interface that I have used with MESA and my AKAI.

Adaptec 2906 is one that works well with Akai samplers in Mesa.
