is there any working strategy how to build installers

1.) by merging existing installers (e.g. from product A and product B)

2.) from already installed files in their locations, preferably by a drag and drop procedure?

for #2 any third party utility which collects paths that way would be welcome, too.

those installer makers are a mess to work with as they are.
