QS 867 -> 933
« on: May 19, 2024, 12:00:52 AM »

Overclocked my 867 module last night and it runs really well now. Was a bit hesitant at first but so easy to do. I had a non working 9250 ATI card I scavenged a 102 1k resistor from, did the swap and all is good!

While I had the heatsink off I removed the foil strip, masked off the contact area and set to it with 600 and 1200 automotive paper. The contact surface is now almost mirror smooth and even at 933mhz the heatsink stays very cool during use with the addition of a dot of Arctic 4 paste.

Well worth doing in the end.
