Flashed SiL3112 QuickBench results?
« on: February 26, 2023, 07:06:33 AM »

It has been stated that ONLY the flashed SiL3112-based
SATA Controller cards will boot OS 9 - a question remains:

What sort of performance can be attained with these cards?
(Requesting QuickBench results from your card.)

Does your SiL3112-based card now surpass these results?
Please, do post your results along with SSD type & size.

*Above “baseline” results via QuickBench 1.5

Ok, it's not a 3112 but a 3114, but here are my results
Picture 7 is on PowerMac G5 1.6 Ghz, SSD Inland connected to Inloon adapter and to Ultra ATA/100 (connection of the CD Drive)
Picture 8 is PowerMac G5 1.6 Ghz, SSD Inland connected to PCI SATA SIL 3114 card with SIL3114CTU and SST39Sf010A, flashed and in a PCI slot 33MHz 64 bit.

Not a big difference actually...

DO not hesitate to come back to me if you want any other information.

Just for comparison, the same Inland SSD connected to the standard G5 SATA connector, 1.5 Gbps...

Results from the converted SiL3112 SATA controller card (equipped with the flashed AM29F010 EEPROM).
